Nope, we fully train you, or your staff, on how to use your website’s WordPress Content Management System (CMS)! Your CMS allows you to change and adapt your website’s content, photography, and other design aspects of the website quickly.
We also use a series of plugins to layout your website content in a friendly and easy-to-use way, almost like a simple version of Microsoft Word, making things way less complicated. (AKA no coding knowledge required!)
It’s always difficult to give a specific answer without knowing the brief in-depth, as it can depend on the website’s complexity and the functionality required.
A fairly simple website could take 7-10 days, whereas a more complex eCommerce website with 1000’s of products could take longer.
Once we have your website brief, we come back to you with a timescale for the project that fits around your requirements and position – meaning you can put your feet up and have a brew while we take care of it all!

All of the work carried out for our clients is done by ourselves. We do sometimes use UK-based self-employed contractors with specialist skills that are required for certain advanced projects. However, we’ll always let you know who they are and why we recommend them.
Athena Media will always avoid where possible the use of overseas contractors due to overseas companies not always being able to comply with the Modern Slavery Act 2015.
