Northern Headstones is a family-owned memorial business that specializes in headstones and memorials throughout the North of England. The company is spearheaded by a time-served memorial mason with years of experience working with stone.

The goal of the new website was to create an awesome digital interface for Northern Headstones that effectively showcased the various headstones and memorials offered and make it as easy as possible for visitors to find the key information they were looking for. A critical part of the website was to ensure it was accessible to all users and highlight the company’s expertise and craftsmanship.

The design process for the Northern Headstones website design began with a discovery phase, during which Athena Media conducted user research and analyzed the existing website. This helped to identify areas for improvement and inform the design direction for the new website.

Since it’s launch the new website has seen a large increase in visitors, leads, and orders. The Northern Headstones website also had a large improvement in traffic-heavy keyword ranking due to its user-friendly and search engine ready design and development.
